Phil: It’s time to party! By party, I mean learn four phrases with ‘party’.
Someone who loves parties, goes to lots of them and really enjoys themselves is a party animal.
Some people really make a party more fun. If you’re that person, you might be the life and soul of the party.
A party trick is something you can do that not many other people can — you can use it to impress people at a party.
Someone who says they’re late to the party might not actually be talking about a party. We use it to say we found out about, or got interested in, something long after everyone else.
